The start of the Chinese New Year calender of the Tiger!
Sleepless two nights with the fireworks going off at midnight with a blast.
Dum! Bang! Dum! Keep it going, guys. Do make it as loud as you can. :) Do Not forget that Hari Raya is coming soon in September (evil grin hehehe).
The Tiger enters into the scene, and we still calls the Lions to do the dance.
Hmm..there is no Lion in the Chinese Zodiac animals, but there is a dragon instead. Well, cat was told that in the old days, the lions helped the villagers to scare away a 'nian', which is an evil spirit. Every year, the villagers did a lion dance in memory of the event and in the hopes of scaring the evil spirits away by tricking them with a replica of the lions.
The lions doing a short dance at the office area and were rewarded with cabbages and oranges (see the scattered green things on the floor). They will then proceed to the lobby to perform more artistic and creative acts in climbing up a pole and eating cabbages that were hung at the lobby's ceiling.
Ahaks (smile). My favorite big cats.
By the way, the garbage truck came at 3am in the morning to clear the papers and leftovers of the fireworks (as if they were saying..since people are already awake, why don't we just clear the mess as early as we can). And funny thing is, when the garbage truck came, all the dogs in the area will start barking one by one non stop.
Hmm.. Mystery..
Life as it is..Sometimes it rains and sometimes the sun shines brighter than ever...
